Dr. Tara Fogle Orand hails from Greenville, South Carolina, and moved to Griffin, Georgia, with her family when she was nine years old. After attending the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry in 2007. She joined this practice soon after.

Dr. Fogle is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society. She attends many hours of continuing education every year on topics including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry (implants, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, occlusion), diagnosis and treatment planning, dental materials, oral pathology, and CPR and first aid.

Dr. Fogle loves getting to know her patients and helping people through dentistry, whether it be restoring a smile or getting someone out of pain. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children, family, and friends. She also loves to travel.

Dr. Eric P. Swinson, DMD, spent his childhood in the Embry Hills area of Atlanta, having moved there with his family in the third grade. He went to college at the University of Georgia, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, cum laude. Motivated by his uncle who was a dentist, he earned his DMD degree at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, in 1985. He began practicing dentistry with Dr. Blanchard at this office immediately afterwards.

Dr. Swinson has had many years of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry and is an active member of the ADA, GDA, and NDDS. He enjoys providing his patients with a wide range of services but has focused on treating the older population, particularly those who need removable (denture) type restorations.

In the first half of his career, Dr. Swinson made time to travel extensively in Europe and the Americas having made many friends in Atlanta from overseas. He also earned a U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license and taught sailing part time in Florida. Now nearing retirement, he looks forward to having more time to enjoy travel, boating, reading, learning, and quality relationships.

Dr. Jacqueline Delash is a native of Griffin, Georgia, and has an innate passion for both education and dentistry. Growing up, she spent her formative years working in her mother’s dental laboratory assisting in making dental casts, waxing teeth, and crowns. It was from this early experience that she knew dentistry was her calling. Upon graduating from The Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Delash continued her education with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program from NYU Langone in Atlanta, Georgia. Her focus was on treating medically complex patients in all areas of dentistry: fillings, crowns, dentures, extractions, root canals, oral and inhalation sedation, and oral cancers. Through her residency training, Dr. Delash became aware of the negative effects of sleep apnea on a patient’s overall and dental health, and this served as the impetus to her becoming specialized in dental sleep medicine as a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (D. ABDSM).

Dr. Delash has spent her career as both a dental educator and in private practice. She is a dental journal reviewer, and has published manuscripts and photography in referred dental journals. Dr. Delash served as Adjunct Faculty at the Dental College of Georgia, Department of Restorative Sciences, and continues to lecture on topics of sleep apnea and operative dentistry in the state of Georgia.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Delash enjoys an early morning espresso, playing outside, and time well spent with her husband, family, and friends.
